Section III Ogbomosho - Ilorin. A portion of the Ibadan - Ilorin Expressway

This project involved the construction of a new four lane divided highway from Ogbomosho - Ilorin

Kwara State Government
  • The project involved the rehabilitation of School Buildings, Hospital Buildings, Roads and other Utilities.
  • Provision of motorized boreholes for villages and towns across the State.
  • Provision of Equipment for Hospitals, Schools, and Government Offices
  • Rehabilitation of many water works across the State.
Petroleum (Special) Trust Fund

The Petroleum (Special) Trust Fund is an intervention Agency established to rehabilitate all essential facilities in Nigeria. Rural Water Supply is a component and was specifically addressed in Cross River State.

  • Provision of 140 Nos. boreholes to communities and villages in Cross River State.
  • Rehabilitation of existing hand pumps boreholes in various communities and villages in the State.
  • Formation of Water Users' Associations/Committee, Training their representatives for the operation and maintenance of the boreholes to enhance for sustainability i.e. preparing the community for adequate owner managed infrastructure system.
Petroleum (Special) Trust Fund
Lot 13 (Ore - Ondo; Ife - Ilesha - Akure; Ikare-Ado Ekiti & Ipetu-Ijesha-Ilawe - Ado Ekiti Roads)
The Petroleum (Special) Trust Fund is an intervention Agency, Established to rehabilitate all essential facilities in Nigeria. Roads as part of the facilities got a boost from the fund for rehabilitation. The principal components of the project include upgrading, rehabilitate, maintain and strengthen of some priority roads.
Oyo State Government
The Oyo State Government implemented the Multi-State Roads Project (MSRP II) as part of its effort to create and enhance the planning and management capability of state roads systems and to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Oyo State Ministry of Works and Transport (MOWT).
The principal components of the project included:
  • A Programme to upgrade, rehabilitate, maintain, and strengthen priority state roads (paved and unpaved)
  • Procurement of equipment and vehicles for better management of roads
  • Development of MOWT's capability in planning, maintenance, design and monitoring of road construction and maintenance programmes.

Sheladia Associates in conjunction with Yolas Consultants provided a technical assistance team for the implementation of this important three-year pilot project to be replicated in other parts of Nigeria.
Nigerian Ports Authority
Rehabilitation of Ports for Restoration of the over 20 years old Apapa Quays walls, container terminals etc and construction of the sea plane road. The jobs include reinforced capping beams, heavy load pavement on sand cement, corrosion resistance of sheet piles (for quays walls), procurement, etc.

Restoration of the various components of the damaged bitumen jetty at Port-Harcourt. The components include the walkway (Aisle), jetty heads and dolphins on reinforced concrete piles installed on shore

Kachia - Gimi Road with Spur from Zonkwa - Gan Gora Kataf Projects

The project involves the rehabilitation and asphalt overlay of 231.162 km of existing main trunk road from Kaduna - Gimi in Kaduna State and the construction of 22 km Spur from Zonkwa - Gan Gora Kataf.

The development of the Nigerian Road Network is governed by a 10-year Investment Plan. Based on a Federal Trunk Roads Study (FTRS). The objective of the Road Network Rehabilitation and Maintenance Study was to update time-sensitive data used in the FTRS on a 46,000-km network. In addition, the study included 90,000 km of State and Local Government roads.
